✅ What's New in EPF Withdrawal (June 2025)
1. EPF Withdrawal via UPI & ATM
UPI-based withdrawal means you can now receive your PF money instantly to your UPI-linked bank account. Simply add your UPI ID (e.g., yourname@upi) to your EPF KYC details.
ATM-enabled Aadhaar cards will also allow you to withdraw directly from EPF once linked and authenticated with biometric or PIN verification.
2. Advance Withdrawal Limit Increased to ₹5 Lakh
Employees can now take up to ₹5 lakh as an advance for situations like:
- 🏥 Medical treatment
- 🏠 Home construction or purchase
- 🎓 Education of children
This increase offers more liquidity to salaried individuals during emergencies or major life events.
📲 How to Withdraw EPF Using UPI
- Login to EPFO Member Portal or open the UMANG App
- Go to Manage → KYC and add your UPI ID
- Navigate to Online Services → Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C, etc.)
- Select Withdrawal Type and choose UPI option
- Submit and wait for real-time processing
